About the Initiative
Holiday Care & Comfort for Heroes is a united community effort supported by the Medic Now Foundation Inc., the Plymouth Area Veterans Center (VOAMASS), local Veteran Service Officers (VSOs), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the American Legion, and a growing network of local organizations and volunteers.
Now in its second year, this outreach effort provides more than a warm Christmas dinner; it delivers hope, gratitude, and a direct link to vital wraparound resources that strengthen veteran families.
How It Works
Why It Matters
This initiative comes at a time when many military families are struggling.
According to the Blue Star Families 2024 Military Family Lifestyle Survey, 31% of military and veteran households struggled to meet basic needs during the holidays, and only 26% of active-duty families reported their housing costs were fully covered by BAH.
Together, we’re responding with action, proving that when neighbors unite, we deliver more than meals.
We deliver dignity, connection, and care.
Get Involved
You can help make a lasting difference this holiday season.
Join the mission by:
Together, we can serve 1,000 meals of gratitude and remind every veteran that their community stands beside them.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available.
When we come together as one community, we serve those who served us, with compassion, gratitude, and heart.
Medic Now Foundation Inc. (82-3902217) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Each $10 donation supports Holiday Care & Comfort for Heroes, helping provide meals and outreach for veterans and military families. MNF will match every meal donation up to 500 meals.
Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Surplus funds support our Healthcare Cost Assistance Program (HCAP).
